The University of Oviedo has signed collaboration and mobility agreements with prestigious university centres in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. This internationalisation policy responds to our institution's vocation to project itself abroad and to our desire to be an academic, research and multicultural reference within society.
Students who take advantage of a mobility agreement will have to formalise all the procedures for their stay through the International Relations Office, both before travelling and on arrival at the University of Oviedo. All of them will have access to a wide range of services and activities to facilitate their adaptation inside and outside the University.
Before coming
The following documents must be sent to the International Relations Office:
- Exchange Agreement Application Form.
- ECTS Study Contract (Exchange Agreement Learning Form). The section of subjects to be studied at the University of Oviedo must be completed, with code and number of credits. The contract must be signed by the institutional coordinator and the lecturer responsible for the agreement at the University of origin.
- Photocopy of identity card or passport.
Deadline for submission
- First fortnight of July for students starting in the first term or yearly.
- First fortnight of November for students starting in the second term.

On arrival
- Registration at the International Relations Office
- Students must present the following documents:
- Original and copy of passport
- One passport-size photograph
- Original and copy of Health Care Insurance with coverage in Spain.
- Accommodation. Information on available accommodation will be provided.
- Guidance on the final completion of your study contract.
- Enrolment in the subjects listed in the study contract (15 days from the start of the corresponding term).
- Notifying the O.R.I. of any change of address or length of stay.
- Spanish course
- Students must present the following documents:
- Welcome meeting.
- Student residence permits
