The Organic and Inorganic Chemistry Department carries out its teaching and research work in the areas it is composed of, Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry, and is responsible for the teaching of numerous subjects in different centres of this university.

Thanks to the overall results of the department’s research, measured according to the criteria used by the research activity assessment agencies (publications, doctoral theses read, research fellows, research projects), it holds a prominent position both nationally and internationally.

In terms of infrastructures, the Department has the laboratories, instrumentation and adequate means to satisfactorily carry out its teaching tasks.
