Movilidad

Mobility for students, teaching and research staff and administrative and service staff

The University of Oviedo provides the information and support that its students need to participate in mobility programmes, and to apply for grants that facilitate the possibility of completing their training at a foreign university. The academic institution also offers the language training that students need.

The thousands of agreements and collaboration agreements that the University of Oviedo has signed with universities offer a favourable scenario for international mobility. The range of destinations available to our students and teachers covers universities in Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania.

Scholarships and grants for international mobility are a key element to ensure that as many students as possible travel to a foreign university. The University of Oviedo participates in the main international mobility programmes and leads several European projects to promote student exchange.

A competitive higher education requires fluency in other languages. Through La Casa de las Lenguas, students at the University of Oviedo have a wide range of general courses and activities to improve their language skills. Those who wish can take the official exams in English, French, German and Italian at the university itself in order to obtain their respective qualifications.

Mobility programmes

Students at the University of Oviedo have various options for international mobility. Each one of them is adapted to different needs and geographical areas.

All students interested in taking part of their studies outside Spain will find all the necessary information and advice at the Vice-rectorate for Internationalisation and through the international relations officers in the study centres.

Each programme has specific conditions in the academic field and the amount of possible financial aid also varies. Students interested in international mobility should consult the specific requirements for each of the options.
