In the June call for applications, 95.17% of students pass the 'EBAU' (university baccalaureate entrance test)

The overall average for this year's test is 7.401, and the highest mark was 10.00

In the June 2020 call for applications, of the total number of students enrolled in the university baccalaureate entrance test ("EBAU" by its Spanish acronym), 4,373 completed the entrance stage. 95.17% of students were suitable (95.50% for women, 94.76% for men) - a higher figure than in June 2019, when 92.54% passed.

The overall average score for this year's EBAU test was 7,401, compared to 7,055 in June last year. The highest mark obtained in this 2020 call for applications was 10.00. 733 students achieved an average mark of 9 or more, compared to 383 in 2019.

Broken down by subjects: for Spanish Language and Literature II, 91.70% passed with an average mark of 7.59 (compared to 88.26% and an average mark of 6.81 in June 2019); for English, 73.12% passed with an average mark of 6.32 (compared to 73.07% and 6.29 in June 2019); and for Spanish History, 84.89% passed with an average mark of 7.39 (compared to 73.29% and 6.38 in June 2019).

In the tests relating to the core Baccalaureate subjects: in Mathematics II, 80.67% passed with an average mark of 6.92 (compared to 64.72% and 5.62 in June 2019); in Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences II, 85.12% passed with an average mark of 7.39 (compared to 83.10% and 6.55 in June 2019); in Latin II, 65.75% passed with an average mark of 6.09 (61.20% and 5.78 in June 2019); and in Art Foundation II, 97.28% passed with an average mark of 8.40 (88.00 % with an average mark of 7.16 in June 2019).

During the admission stage, notable results were seen in Biology, with 79.31% passing and an average mark of 6.62; Physics, with 69.71% passing and an average mark of 6.03; and Chemistry, with 83.16% passing with an average score of 6.91

In addition, a total of 534 students completed only the admission phase: 289 from Higher Vocational Qualification courses and 245 from the Baccalaureate (improving on their previous score).

Students have access to the results from the EBAU test as well as the mark for getting into the university (60% Baccalaureate + 40% entrance stage mark) and the grades from subjects assessed during the admission phase. The admission mark for undergraduate studies (base 14) does not feature among the results presented since it is specific to each degree and can only be revealed at the time of applying for each course in question.

Reviews of the exams can only be requested online (not via the Office of the Vice-Rector for Students) on 10th, 13th and 14th July up until 2pm. The revised mark will be published on 20 July after 8pm, and a final digital certificate of results can be generated for students who wish to appeal.
