The 19th University of Oviedo Employment Forum, which will take place on 18 and 19 March at the Luis Adaro de Gijón/Xixón Exhibition Centre, will be attended by more than 100 entities with the aim of capturing Asturias talent and promoting more direct contact between students and companies and organisations.

University professors and companies will come together in different master classes so that students can see how to put the knowledge they are acquiring in the classroom into practice. There will also be activities such as resume and LinkedIn profile review and Speed Job Dating, in which the personnel from the companies' human resources departments will advise on how to achieve a more competitive profile in the current labour market.

University students can already include their curriculum on the website, until 1 March, so that the collaborating companies can go through the profiles before they make contact in the Employment Forum. As a new feature this year, a specialised photographer will be available to take a professional photo for those who wish to do so.

Other activities regarding employment are being planned in the programme, and some of the vacancies that each company seeks to fill in this edition of the event will be published shortly.

The University of Oviedo Employment Forum has become the main meeting between companies, institutions and the university community of the Asturias Principality and it takes place every year thanks to the participation of companies and organisations, which show their support and commitment to talent and university knowledge.
