The University of Oviedo is synonymous with excellence in teaching and research at one of the oldest public universities in Spain, with more than 400 years of history. In recent years, this Asturian academic institution has been especially committed to boosting its international profile, with the backing of its Campus of International Excellence.
Every year, the University of Oviedo welcomes hundreds of students and researchers from outside Spain into its classrooms and makes a broad network of services available to them to help them with legal and academic paperwork during their stay in the country. The Office of the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Postgraduate Studies is in charge of opening frontiers to enhance the mobility flows of University of Oviedo students and teaching and research staff, as well as attracting talent through new agreements with institutions, bodies and universities of other countries.
