Corporate communication is one of the University of Oviedo's main outreach tools. The institution has a Strategic Communication Plan which establishes the criteria and key actions to develop a comprehensive and coordinated communication strategy.
The Office of Communications channels all external and internal communication at the University. Tools such as the University of Oviedo Journal (dUO), the Media Brief and the Corporate Identity Manual allow the university community to be duly informed and the brand image of the University to be reinforced in all of the institution's public appearances.

Promoting the University of Oviedo brand on an international scale is key to the future of the institution. The University's audio-visual services provide technical coverage of institutional events and other activities, and are also responsible for the taking of photos and videos. The Marketing Area of the Communication Office channels the planning of institutional campaigns to boost the presence of the University of Oviedo both inside and outside our borders.
