The University of Oviedo holds the session 'Patents: what all researchers must know'

The formative session will take place on 8th March 2012, from 10 am. to 14 pm. at the Severo Ochoa Building in the Campus of El Cristo

The University of Oviedo, in collaboration with the Brand and Patent Office (OEPM) and the Centre of Patents from the University of Barcelona, offers the session "Patents: what all researchers must know", which begins on 8th march 2012.

This initiative, organised by the OTRI and the Cluster of Biomedicine and Health of the University of Oviedo, is of great interest for all the university community; specially for lecturers, researchers, students and I+D+I agents. It is a formative session whose main goal is to provide basica formation in patents through chemical, chemical, biological, elctromechanic and computer samples. Particularly, they will try to clarify misunderstandings arising from the academic world.

The session will count on the notable presence of the director of the Centre of Patents of the University of Barcelona, Pascual Segura, and chief of the Documentation and Search area of the Spanish Brand and Patent Office (OEPM), Blanca Vila.

Those interested in attending the session must register in advance through the email address otri@uniovi.es or calling 985 10 27 62. The registration is free. Seating will be limited to the first registrations.
