Students registered in the University in the current academic year can submit their works in the form of a short tale or a poem.
The University of Oviedo has announced the Second Edition of the Literary Contest, promoted by the Vice-chancellor's Office for University Extension, Culture and Sports. The objective is to promote literary creation among university students, who will be allowed to take part in both categories: short tales and poetry.
The contest targets students registered in official learning in the University of Oviedo in the 2011/12 academic year. Each contestant will be allowed to present one work, either in Spanish or in Asturian, for each modality. The works submitted, with a free topic, must be original and unprecedented, never totally or partly published by either a printing or electronic procedure or awarded in other literary contest before the decision of this contest is announced. Those who are interested will have three months to submit their works.
