The exhibition includes exhibition and informative panels and will visit all campus until next 29th February.
The Rector, Vicente Gotor, opened this morning, in the Faculty of Economics and Business, a travelling exhibition which tries to bring students closer to the content and meaning of the Student Statutes. In this brief opening ceremony, the Rector was accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Students and Employment, Luis Rodríguez, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Manuel González Díaz, and the director of University Services, Eduardo Rodríguez.
The exhibition, which is organized by the Vice-Rector's Office for Students and Employment, consists of five informative panels which highlight key contents of the Student Statutes such as the academic offer, the importance of mobility, author's copyright in research works, student participation mechanisms or the existing possibilities to get a professional practice and combine the labour market with the learning process.
Furthermore, the exhibition includes a showing of a series of videos in which students from the University explain some of the most important aspects the regulating text includes and which directly affect the students' right and responsibilities. The 17 videos included in the exhibition, as well as all the information concerning the Student Statutes, can also be checked out in the website http://estatutoestudiante.uniovi2masd.com/
The exhibition will remain in the Faculty of Economics and Business until next 3rd February; subsequently, it will be moved to the Faculty of Law (6th-8th February), Faculty of Chemistry (9th-10th February), Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón (13th-15th February), Faculty of Commerce, Tourism and Social Sciences Jovellanos (16th-17th February), Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (22nd-23rd February), Faculty of Teaching Training and Education (27th- 28th February) and Polytechnic School of Mieres (29th February).
