Supreme Court Judge José Antonio Montero has been in charge of opening this morning the meeting on Effective legal protection in the field of taxation, organized by the Area of Financial and Tax Law of the University, with the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors.

This meeting is part of a research project developed by lecturers of the University of Oviedo and led by Isabel García-Ovies. The event, which was held at the Historical Building of the academic institution, has brought together 50 experts in this subject coming from different fields: employees of public administrations, experts of the private sector, university lecturers and members of the judicial body.

In his inaugural conference, Judge José Antonio Montero has dealt with the Supreme Court Jurisprudence in the field of taxing.
