"U3: Universidad al cubo: Una expresión funcional" is the project that has won the first Planta tu diseño contest, a call by the Vice-Rector's Office for Students which promoted the presentation of ideas for the display window of these headquarters, in González Besada Street, in Oviedo. The authors of the project, Mariano González, Pelayo José Bernando and Noelia Castro, will receive a tablet iPad2 and a certificate.

The jury of the contest has awarded the team consisting of Gerardo García, Radamés Huré and Iván González the second prize for their project "Infórmate, proyecta tu futuro". Their prize consists of a smartphone and a certificate for each one. Finally, the works by Maite Ania, Gonzalo González abd Sarai Allende ("Futurum. Asómate a tu futuro"); and Cristina Álvarez, Laura Argüelles and Judith Calleja ("Tenemos un regalo para ti") will receive a certificate as a consolidation prize.

In order to assess the projects, the jury took into account the originality of the proposals, their aesthetic quality, the possibilities of the idea as an information and guidance tool for students, their adaptability to the proposed space, the possibilities to put them into practice and the recyclability and safety of materials among other aspects".
