A total of 933 students will take the University Entrance Exam PAU in July

933 students will take in July the University Entrance Exam PAU to access the University of Oviedo. Examinations will start on Tuesday, June 30, and will end on Thursday, July 2. Examinations will take place in Oviedo, Gijón, Avilés, Ribadesella, Cangas del Narcea and Tapia de Casariego.
The general phase exams will start on June 30, at 15:45, with the Spanish Language and Literature exam. The specific phase exam will start on July 1, at 15:45 with exams on Physics, Artistic Drawing, Musical Analysis, Geography and Greek II. Examinations will end on Thursday afternoon. The grades will be published on Thursday, July 7.
The University Entrance Exam is divided into two sections, a general-compulsory phase, which evaluates the students´ skills and maturity, and grants access to university. Then there is a specific-optional phase, which evaluates knowledge and reasoning skills in the fields related to the studies they wish to undertake and allows students to raise their grade in the general phase. Only the successfully completed subjects will be taken into account, and the grades are valid for two academic years. These grades shall determine admission in studies with admission restrictions.
