The University of Oviedo has just announced the second edition of the Mobile Photography Contest, open to all members of the university community (students, PDI and PAS) in active employment in the current academic year. The deadline to submit photographs will end on July 25.

 

In this present edition, the topic is the University of Oviedo, its activities and spaces, with the following categories: University life (study, teaching, research, coexistence and leisure time in the university sector), and buildings, nature and landscape of the university environment, which must be recognizable as such. The photographs must have been taken in the same year when the contest takes place, and creativity will be highly valued.

 

The contest considers awarding three prizes in each category: 300 euros (first prize); 200 euros (second prize); and 100 euros (third prize). The photographs will be submitted to comunica@uniovi.es, meeting all the requirements detailed in the contest bases, which have been published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA). Each participant can submit one single photograph, taken with a mobile phone in the selected category. The photograph submitted must be original and no external software can be used to retouch it. The participants shall attach the application to participate duly completed alongside with the photograph.
