Duration: 1 course (60 ECTS credits), 1500 hourse. Begins in January.
Tuition Fee: €8.250
Access Requirements: The ones established in the regulations on Studies leading to Own Degrees of the University of Oviedo. Candidates must be graduates in order to access these kind of degrees. Entry application of holders of a non-approved foreign degree shall be accompanied by a report of the body responsible certifying the suitability of the degree presented as well as their equivalence with a Spanish higher education degree.
Admission Requirements: This course is mainly intended for university graduates, preferably those who have studied in the fields of Architecture, Computer Sciences, Engineering and Telecommunications, as well as for entrepreneurs and/or professionals who, despite not being university graduates, are able to verify their experience in the fields of HD and RS, and fulfill the requirements needed to access university studies.
Modality: Blended learning
Schedule: Fridays from 4 PM to 9 PM, Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Professional Opportunities
Thanks to the agreement signed between the University of Oviedo and the AMETIC Platform, and due to the relevance of technolgy in our lives and the publication of the new ICT, the Master's degree in Digital Home and Service Robotics aims at improving the formation of the engineers of this field. At the same time, it ensures that the skills acquired by the students favor the solution of current problematics, both in the field of Digital Homes and in the sphere of Robotics Services (training, surveillance and security).
Moreover, this Master's Degree offers a deeper knowledge in technologies on an international level, in order to develop new abilities in the international sphere. 06/06/2012.
Syllabus
The Master's degree in Digital Home and Service Robotics has duration of 1500 hours, and is divided into two semesters with a total of 60 ECTS credits. All the subjects are taught via blended learning (a combination of classroom and online education).
SUBJECTS:
Digital Home: Digital communication networks, Technologies and Automated Systems.
Service Robotics: Usage and application of Service Robotics
Regulation and Legislation in the Digital Home and Service Robotics: Current norms applied to the Digital Home.
Robotic Development I: Challenges and relevance of Service Robotics, Applied simulation of Service Robotics.
Robotic Development II: Modeling and Programming of Service Robots, Control Systems applied to the automated environment
Energy and Building Integration: Integration of projects of Digital Home and Service Robotics, Energy and Smart Grids.
Project Management: Resource allocation in a project
Master's Thesis and internships in enterprises.
