Ethical Committee in Research of the University of Oviedo

The Ethical Committee in Research of the University of Oviedo is a collegiate organ of a consultative and cross-curricular organ created to perform the evaluation of the ethical aspects of research projects or teaching practices that take place at the University of Oviedo and which involve the use of animals, biological agents and genetically-modified organisms. The Committee is an organism enabled by the Council of Agriculture and Farming and Autoctonous Resources (Resolution of October 8, 2013) to evaluate projects that involve experimentation animals, including teaching.

Requests for evaluation of those projects that involve research on humans and with human samples must be applied to the Ethical Committee of Regional Clinical Research of the Principality of Asturias.
