Planning Your Arrival
Once admitted into any of the University of Oviedo’s study and research programmes, foreign students can complete a series of administrative documentation that will facilitate their arrival in Spain.
The Office for International Relations of the University is a reference point where all foreign students can find the information they need. The staff at the Office will help students to complete all the paperwork needed to legalise their residence, find accommodation, access health care during their stay in Spain and to formalise their registration at the University of Oviedo.
In order to obtain a more personalized attention, starting January 16 2017, the "Appointment" service will activated (click on this link / open this link with the right button of the mouse). Here, before your arrival, you can choose the place, day, and date where and when to register in our offices, thus avoiding unnecessary waiting. You must mark the Office of the Campus in which you will pursue your studies (GIJON/OVIEDO). The application is both in Spanish and English.

Furthermore, those students who so desire can receive the guidance and specific support of a student from the University of Oviedo who will accompany them and advise them during their first few weeks in Asturias. If you are interested in this kind of help, you can sign up for the a-dUO programme before you come.
Those students who have any kind of special need can get in touch with the Special Needs Office (ONEO) before their arrival, where they will receive all the necessary information and advice.
