The Office will help all international students to complete the legal, administrative and academic paperwork necessary for their stay in Asturias

At this Office, foreign students and teaching staff who come to the University of Oviedo will find all the advice they need to be able to accredit the degrees form their University of origin, in addition to expediting the paperwork for visas and residency permits for students or work permits for teaching staff and researchers.

The Office for International Relations will make their arrival in Asturias easier for students, advising them as to accommodation options, requisites for opening a bank account, getting a Spanish phone line or formalising insurance and healthcare during their stay in Spain. Additionally, they will inform the university students about all the services and advantages students and teaching staff at the University of Oviedo have available to them (University Student Card, scholarships, grants, job opportunities, sports and cultural installations, etc.)
