This scholarship programme sponsored by the leading Spanish bank targets undergraduate and postgraduate students at universities in Spain, Brazil and the United Kingdom to boost international mobility. With these grants, students are able to spend a semester studying at a university in a different country.
Within the framework of the agreement signed between the University of Oviedo and the Santander Bank, grants are offered to students taking undergraduate and five-year degrees at the University of Oviedo to continue their studies at universities in Mexico, Colombia and Peru as listed on the notice inviting applications.
The duration of the stay at the foreign university will be one semester in the period between 1 July 2012 and 1 July 2013. The total amount of each scholarship is 3,000 euros.
General requirements for participants
Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate or five-year degree courses at the University of Oviedo during the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 academic years, and they must have completed at least 120 credits or completely passed all of their classes in the first years of their degree. An essential pre-requisite is to register through the link on the www.becas-santander.com website.
