Offices of the Vice-Rectors

The rectoral team includes Vice-Rectors who administer different areas of the academic institution and support the Rector in decision-making and university governance.

The Vice-Rectors are appointed by the Rector from among the tenured lecturers holding a PhD who work full time at the University of Oviedo. Currently, the University Government is composed of seven Offices of Vice-Rectors.

They assume the running and coordination of the aspects or sectors of university activity entrusted to them by the Rector. They in turn receive support from the figure of the Head of Area, who exercises the role of advising the Vice-Rector. Each Vice-Rector's Office also counts on the assistance of a service staffed by highly qualified personnel.
