The University of Oviedo offers individuals interested in broadening their education the opportunity to take subjects or courses in the degree programmes offered, provided they meet admission requirements
Both Spanish and foreign individuals interested in broadening their education without working towards receiving an official degree may apply for special enrolment in subjects or courses separate from the programmes offered by the University of Oviedo (Agreement Governing Board 30/7/1996).
Requirement: Candidates must accredit that that they meet the conditions required for admission to official university studies in their corresponding countries. Enrolment will be understood to apply for the academic year for which it has been authorized.
Applications are to be submitted at the General Registrar's Office or at its satellite offices, addressed to the attention of the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Students, who, after receiving a previous report by the Dean/Director of the Centre, will decide upon special enrolment authorization. Said authorization is in any event contingent upon the teaching capacity of the Centre where the subjects or courses are taught and the nature of the studies applied for.
The academic administrative procedure for special enrolment is governed by the Resolution of the University of Oviedo Rectorship dated 22 May 1997.

- University Entrance Exam (PAU) card / University degree or application receipt / Graduate degree in Technical Studies
- Copy of National ID card
- University Entrance Exam card / University degree / Certification of being a university student in the country of origin
