Pre-University Orientation Program

The Office of the Vice-Rector for Students of the University of Oviedo, in collaboration with the Council of Education, Culture and Sports of the Principality of Asturias, offers a Pre-University Orientation Program that includes several types of actions:

Actions aimed at education centers

The design of a Service Catalogue provides a collection of all the actions held by the University and aimed at educational centers.

As a novelty this year, the University of Oviedo is starting a programme of informative talks on the current process related to access and admission to the University, aimed exclusively at baccalaureate students. These talks will be given by university professors, with an approximate duration of one hour, and will only be delivered on request.

On the other hand, the Pre-university Orientation Programme includes informative talks aimed at baccalaureate students, and also Higher Education Training Cycles. The informative talks are offered by each university center. Each center has a contact email, which is available at the Service Catalogue, where those interested may submit the application form duly completed. In addition, there is a coordinator responsible for this programme at each university center.

This programme of informative talks offers two different modalities: those that provide information about the undergraduate degrees of each center, and those that offer more specialized information. In order to safeguard the orientation purpose of these talks, those who wish to request the specialized talks of one center, must have attended before the talk on the undergraduate degrees offered in that center.

Actions intended for students and families

Open Doors Session of the University of Oviedo: April 15-16, 2015.

II Academic Fair of the University of Oviedo

Given that the University Access Examinations will take place in a few weeks and the students are in a key moment of their lives, we aim at creating an environment that informs of not only the general processes of access and admittance into the University, but also of specific questions pertaining each Degree.

Each university center will have a stand with information in which the staff of the center will personally answer any questions related to its offer of Degrees.
