The jury of the Cajastur Award for the best academic record of the University of Oviedo has chosen to award the prize to Sara Diego Castaño, student of the Bachellor's Degree in Psychology, who achieved the best academic record of the Asturian academic institution during the 2013-2014 academic year.
The award will be given during the celebration acts of the festivity of Saint Catherine. The economic reward of the prize amounts to €6,000. All the best academic records of every Degree of the University compete each year for the Cajastur Award.
The jury chooses among them a winner according to the previously-established criteria. Thus, it is determined that only those who have achieved at least an average grade of Sobresaliente may opt for the award. From among them, by applying a formula, the jury chooses the one that is considered to have the best average grade, depending on the difficulty of their studies and the grades obtained by their colleagues.
