The team consisting of Enol Fernández, Industrial Engineering student at the University of Oviedo, and Marco Sernaglia, who is currently undertaking an Erasmus program at the Asturian institution, has been the winner of the Clio Raid Marrakech race in the university category, and they were also second place winners in the general ranking of the competition.

The Clio Raid Marrakech, promoted and designed by the ex-pilot Chus Puras, is a sports and charity event that crosses the Atlas Mountains and goes through the south Morocco dessert, to finally reach the finish line in Marrakech. The itinerary is 4000 kilometers long with a duration of 9 days.
It is neither a rally nor a race, since it is not about speed, but about having the necessary skills to follow the itinerary planned by the organization. Safe driving and being accurate when following the itinerary, have been taking into account to choose the winners. In addition to the trophies, the representatives of the University of Oviedo awarded the winners with two tablets.
Due to being a charity event, the participants in the Clio Raid Marrakech race took tons of humanitarian supplies in their trunks to help children and adults living at the edge of the desert.
