  • PhD Programme in European Languages & Cultures

    General Information

    Presentation: The Programme provides students with advanced training in different areas related to European Languages and Cultures. The wide range of lines of research enables students to choose the most appropriate area of specialization for their objectives. In addition, the Programme enables students to develop communication skills and capabilities for the transfer of knowledge.

    This programmes requires that students work with at least two European languages. Taking into account that a language is not just a mere tool of communication but that it carries the development of its culture of origin, the PhD Thesis of this Programme will present a multiple point of view, culturally and socially, open to diversity, transculturation and contemporary mainstreaming.

    Specific requirements: Proven knowledge of English or French at level C1 or German at level B2, depending on the research language. Knowledge of another language will be taken into account.
