  • PhD Programme in Food Biotechnology

    General Information

    Presentation: The Programme provides students with advanced research training in different areas of the Food Biotechnology field. The wide range of research lines enables students to choose the most appropriate area of specialization for their objectives. In addition, the Programme enables students to develop communication skills and capabilities for the transfer of knowledge

    The students' academic background must be similar to the one provided by the Master's Degree in Food Biotechnology of the University of Oviedo.

    Specific requirements (presentation and defence of the PhD Thesis): At the moment of presenting and defending the PhD Thesis, students are required to have and advanced knowledge of the English language or failing that, of another EU official language, so as to make the presentation and defence of the Thesis in accordance with the regulations of International PhD studies.
