77.4% students pass the PAU in the July session

The general average mark has been 5.26, whereas the highest grade reached a 8.79
77.4% students who sat for the University Entrance Exam (PAU) in July has successfully passed the exams. This result in the General Phase is one point superior to the one from last year in this same examination session. The exams review will take place next 11, 12 and 13 July.
In this examination session, a total of 914 students were registered, a figure similar to last year's, although in the end only 905 (456 women and 449 men) sat for the exam. 778 students did the General Phase. The general average mark has been 5.26, whereas the highest mark has been 8.79, both of them similar to the ones registered last year.
The percentage of students passing the General Phase, which is carried out by all students, and according to subjects is the following: Spanish Language and Literature 54.02%, with an average mark of 4.75; English Language with a 46.42% of passing marks with an average of 4.53; In Philosophy, 60.43% students passed the exam, which had an average mark of 5.06; and, finally, 55.03% students passes History, with an average mark of 4.99.
