- Access Requirements:
In order to register in an official Master's Degree, it is mandatory to have completed an official degree in Spain or in any higher education institution of a member state of the European Union integrated in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) that allows students to take a Master's Degree. Students who have obtained their degree outside the EHEA can be admitted as long as the University can verify that these qualifications have a similar level to the corresponding degrees in Spain and they permit graduates to take a Master's Course.
This Master's Degree is mainly directed for Graduates in the fields of Engineering (especially Computing, Telecommunications and Industrial Computing) and Sciences (Mathematics or Physics), among other degrees. Given the thematic diversity of the curriculum and the optional subjects offered, it can also be interesting for students from other degrees.

This Master's Degree is intended for researchers aiming to develop their activity both in the scientific and industry fields and willing to focus their thematic lines on the fields of Soft Computing and Intelligent Data Analysis. It trains professionals in a particular area of the ICT, Intelligent Systems, that will provide experts with advanced tools for the intelligent treatment of the information and its analysis. This training focuses on acquiring the necessary knowledge to carry out R&D and innovations tasks both in the research and industry fields.

This Master's programme consists of 75 credits divided into three modules: Foundations of Soft Computing (SC) and Intelligent Data Analysis (IDA), Advanced Topics in SC and IDA, and Applications in addition to the Master's Thesis. The credits are divided as follows: 33 credits are compulsory and 30 credits are optional (student will have to choose 15 ECTS credits from the offered optional credits). The remaining 12 ECTS credits belong to the Master's Thesis.
