    General Information

    Access Requirements:

    In order to register in an official Master's Degree, it is mandatory to have completed an official degree in Spain or in any higher education institution of a member state of the European Union integrated in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) that allows students to take a Master's Degree. Students who have obtained their degree outside the EHEA can be admitted as long as the University can verify that these qualifications have a similar level to the corresponding degrees in Spain and they permit graduates to take a Master's Course.

    This Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering is primarily designed for graduates in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Engineers. Engineers and graduates from other fields will be considered for entry as long as they have supplementary training. Candidates must be capable of understanding abstract thinking and analysis. They are also required to have numerical and deductive skills, thoroughness at work and a sound training in the field of science and technology.

    Furthermore, candidates must prove that they have an English language ability equivalent to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, since great part of the course will be in English. In addition, the English language is essential to practice as chemical engineers and to handle basic sources of information in this field.

    This Master's programme takes into account the current labour market demands and the training needs of chemical engineers in the field of R&D and innovation.

    This Master's degree is therefore suitable for those willing to practice as chemical engineers and for those intending to complement their professional training or wishing to undertake PhD Studies in the scientific and technical area, particularly in the field of Chemical Engineering.

    • Simulation and optimization in the process and chemical industry (4.5 ECTS)

    MODULE 2: Management and Optimization of Production and Sustainability

    • Management of production and the company (3 ECTS)

    • Analysis and synthesis of chemical processes (4.5 ECTS)
