    • Holders of a 4 or 5-year degree in Computer Engineering: 1 year and a half (90 ECTS credits)
    • Holders of a 3-year degree in Computer Engineering: 2 years (120 ECTS credits)
    Access Requirements:

    In order to register in an official Master's Degree, it is mandatory to have completed an official degree in Spain or in any higher education institution of a member state of the European Union integrated in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) that allows students to take a Master's Degree. Students who have obtained their degree outside the EHEA can be admitted as long as the University can verify that these qualifications have a similar level to the corresponding degrees in Spain and they permit graduates to take a Master's Course.

    This Master's programme is intended for Graduates in Computer Engineering (5 years), Computer Engineers (3 years) or equivalent degrees. However, holders of other degree courses and degrees that are not Bologna compliant will also be taken into account. In such cases, students will be subject to taking the necessary credits of complementary subjects to complete their training.

    • Monday to Friday from 4:50pm to 6:50pm.
    • Laboratory practice: Monday to Friday from 2:40pm to 4:40pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00pm.

    Professional Opportunities

    Following the guidelines published in the BOE (Spanish Official Gazette) of 4 August 2009, this Master complements students' training acquired in any of the degrees related to the information technologies field, and enables them to work as an Engineer in Computer Science. This programme focuses on providing students with new technological and methodological competences as well as management and administration skills needed to work in companies or IT departments, thus enabling students to analyse needs, develop strategies, plan resources, manage teams, etc. The sound cross training of this Master's course also enables a greater projection of the students' careers. This Master's degree has been greatly valued by the companies of the field that have been consulted, as they find it difficult to find candidates with this type of training in their selection procedures. This Master also enables candidates to access a PhD programme in any of the field of computer engineering.

    Syllabus

    This Master's course consists of 90 ECTS credits for 5-year Graduates in Computer Engineering. The rest of the candidates must take 30 additional credits of complementary subjects to complete a total of 120 ECTS credits.

    The curriculum is divided into 8 modules which will be taught in two years.
