    Access Requirements:

    In order to register in an official Master's Degree, it is mandatory to have completed an official degree in Spain or in any higher education institution of a member state of the European Union integrated in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) that allows students to take a Master's Degree. Students who have obtained their degree outside the EHEA can be admitted as long as the University can verify that these qualifications have a similar level to the corresponding degrees in Spain and they permit graduates to take a Master's Course.

    The following Degrees will have direct access to the Master's Degree:

    Degrees that enable graduates to work as Technical Engineers in Telecommunications, Technical Engineering in Communications, speciality in Telecommunication Systems, Telematics or Electronic Systems, Telecommunications Engineering.

    Graduates from other Degrees may access this Master's Degree with the corresponding complementary formation:
    Other Degrees from the fields of Engineering and Architecture (graduates, technical engineers or engineers) and Experiemental Sciences.

    Professional Opportunities

    This Master's Degree allows graduates to work as Telecommunications Engineers, according to objectives and competences defined by Order CIN/355/2009.

    The syllabus is structured in subjects common to all the students complemented with a set of elective subjects that include external internships. In turn, each of these subjects has been design taking into account the homogenity of its contents and competences, trying to ensure, at the same time, a correct sequencing of them. To do so, subjects are grouped according to the affinity of their competences and contents.

    The nature of the majority of these subjects is compulsory, leaving only one subjective as elective with contents that the students must choose from a total of 6 ECTS credits (two elective subjects). In turn, the Master's Thesis is worth 24 ECTS.

    • Planning and deployment of telecommunication systems: 4,5 ECTS

    Telematic Engineering(First, second y third semesters) (Compulsory)

    • New Generation Internet: 4,5 ECTS

    • Administration of networks and services: 4,5 ECTS
    • Government of telematic services: 4,5 ECTS

    Electronic Systems (First y second semesters) (Compulsory)

    • Design of electronic circuits for communications: 6,0 ECTS

    • Microelectronic design: 6,0 ECTS
    • Electronic instrumentation: 4,5 ECTS

    Digital Transmission (First y second semesters) (Compulsory)
