    Professional Opportunities

This Master's Degree is in compliance with the provisions of the Organic Law of Education (LOE) 2/2006 of 3 May 2006, which requires teachers in Spain to hold a degree in a chosen field and a postgraduate certificate in teaching that provides advanced didactic and pedagogical training, in order to be able to teach in all levels of Secondary Education in Spain.

This programme enables students to teach in Secondary Education and is mandatory to gain a teaching post in secondary schools, upper secondary shools and Vocational Training Centres. Thus, completing this Master's Programme is the only possible way to work as a teacher in public or private secondary schools.

Employment prospects are positive because of the expected high retirement rate and the increase of students enrollment, as well as the growing need for teachers. This Master has been designed taking into account the selection process to obtain a teaching post in Secondary Schools in Spain and, therefore, the Master's Thesis and the defence of this thesis has been designed with that process in mind.
