The University announces the first list of students admitted to undergraduate programs with admission restrictions

The University of Oviedo has announced the first list of students admitted to Undergraduate programs with admission restrictions. Students admitted to any of these programs shall formalize their registration from 9-14 July. In case a student does not formalize registration, that place will be awarded to the next person on the list. The period for claims will be open from 4-14 July. On July 16 the University will announce the second list of students admitted and on July 23, the third one.
The cut-off marks of this first phase are still provisional, as places will be covered with students in the waiting list. In this first phase, degrees with the highest cut-off mark are: Medicine (12,61), Biotechnology (12,28), Dentistry (12,17) and the Double Degree in Mathematics and Physics (11,71). The rest of the degrees of the field of health sciences are above 10: Physiotherapy (11,32) and Nursing (11,28, Oviedo; and 10,41, Cabueñes). And between 9 and 10 we find Biology (9,91) and the Double Degree in Business Management and Administration (ADE) and Law (9,46).
In this phase, the University of Oviedo has received a total of 5.619 applications for degrees with limited admission. 61% of students were admitted to the undergraduate program they applied for as their first option. The study programs with the largest waiting lists are: Medicine (1.104), Biotechnology (200) and Dentistry (290).
