    The offer of Summer Courses of the University of Oviedo this year is composed of 95 programs that touch all the fields of knowledge. A total of 3300 places are offered for courses taught all across the Asturian geography, organized by the Office of the Vice-Rector for University Extension and Communication.

    The registration period is now open and those who are intested in it may apply online or at the offices of the Office of the Vice-Rector. Students of the University of Oviedo will have a 30% discount on the registration fees, along with unemployed or retired people who prove that their income is lower than the interprofessional salary.

    The courses offered touch every field of knowledge and are taught at nine locations: Oviedo, Gijón, Avilés, Cangas del Narcea, Mieres, Castrillón, Pola de Laviana, Tapia de Casariego and Navia. The courses will start in June and will end on the first week of September.

    The offer of courses gives students and the general public the possibility of engaging in a wide range of activities aimed at the dissemination of the latest scientific and technical advances, the most efficient business and professional strategies, the volunteering proposals and actions aimed at constructing a more just society, but also at exploring the landscape, the language and the traditions of your community; at solving practical every day problems and updating your knowledge in the fields of Law, Economics, Sociology, Medicine and Health, Psychology, Engineering, Biology, Computer Science, Architecture, Arqueology, Arts and Humanities, Industry and Cultural Management, etc.
