The University opens the registration period for the preparatory course for registration of students older than 25 and 45

The registration period will open on Monday, October 14 and will close on November 15. The course will take place at the site of the School of Computer Science Engineering
The University of Oviedo will open next Monday, October 14 the registration period for those students who wish to enrol in the preparatory course for the access examination for applicants older than 25 and 45 years old. The registration period will be open until November 15 and the registration may be formalized at the Unit of Access of the Office of the Vice-Rector for Students (González Besada 13, Oviedo).
The course will be conducted on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings at the School of Computer Science Engineering (Valdés Salas 11, Oviedo - 33007), and will start on November 29. For students Older than 45, the course will have a duration of 18 hours, with a registration fee of €150. The two subjects will be those of the exam: Spanish language and Text analysis or an Essay on a current general event.
For students Older than 25, the course will have a duration of 54 hours, with a registration fee of €250. The subjects will be the three from the general phase (Spanish language, Text analysis or Essay on a current general event and Foreign language, with the option of German, French, English, Italian or Portuguese) and two out of the four possible choices from the specific phase. If the student wants to study for more than two subjects, they may do so by paying €50 per extra subject.
Students Older than 25 have the option of requesting the grant offered by the Ministry of Education. The application must be made via the online program created for this purpose on the website of the Ministry of Education (www.mec.es), and the application period closes on October 15.
The preparatory course to take the Access Examination for students Older than 25 and 45 will only take place if the minimum of 60 students is reached. Furthermore, each subject will require at least 5 students enroled to be offered. Registration in this course does not require the registration in the Acess Examination.
