The "Ería" journal of Geography obtains the FECYT seal of quality

This publication of the University of Oviedo, published uninterruptedly since 1980, has been recognized for its editorial and scientific quality with the highest national award
The Ería journal, of the Department of Geology of the University of Oviedo, has been awarded the seal of quality of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), in the fourth edition of the Call for Evaluation of the Editorial and Scientific Quality of Spanish Scientific Journals. This award is the highest ranking on in the country for academic journals, and is given for a period of three years.
Ería, of which more than 90 issues have been published so far, has appeared uninterruptedly since its creation in 1980, and since 1986 it has released every four months. It has a strict set of regulations for publication and meets all the criteria established by LATINDEX (Regional System of Online Information for Scientific Journals of Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal).
The Editorial Board of the journal is made up by teachers of the Department of Geography and specialists from other institutions. In turn, the Council Board is formed by representatives from different Spanish universities and members of research centers from Latin America and France.
The Ería journal is also distributed digitally online: it is included in the portal of journals of the University of Oviedo, REUNIDO; it has its own website and all of its research has been incorporated into the Dialnet portal.
