    Access Requirements:

    Being in possession of an official University Degree. Nevertheless, exceptionally, admission will be extended to professionals directly related to to the speciality of the course who lack a Degree, as long as they prove their professional careers and meet the legal criteria to access University courses.

    Please check the Agreement of November 29, 2007 of the Governing Council of the University of Oviedo, which approves the regulation of studies leading to Certificate Degrees and other Postgraduate Degrees (BOPA, January 12, 2008).

    Admission Requirements:

    This course is mainly intended for graduates in Legal and Social Sciences, however holders of other degrees and professionals of the field with proven experience and who meet the legal requirements to access university studies will also be welcome

    Students will be selected as well according to their academic background, professional experience in the field of private insurance and academic record.

    Modality: Attendance required

    Schedule: Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 17:00 to 20:00 and Fridays from 16:00 to 20:00

    Professional Opportunities

    This course provides students with a comprehensive training in the field of insurance, both from the economic and the legal points of view, not only in the theoretical aspects but also in issues relating to the professional practice.

    On completion of the course, students will have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to develop their professional practice as professional agents, executive officers or managers of insurance companies.

    The course is in accordance with Resolution of February 18, 2011 (BOE of March 5, 2011) of the General-Directorate for Insurance and Pension Funds and holds the requisite approval of that body to professionally train insurance agents, reinsurance brokers and other professionals directly involved in the mediation of private insurance and reinsurance.

    Syllabus

    This is a one-year Master's course distributed into three terms and consisting of 62 ECTS credits.
