The winners have received this morning the award for the eye-catching design proposed to decorate the entrance to the Vice-Rector's Office for Students
Mariano González, Pelayo José Bernardo and Noelia Castro have accepted this morning the first prize of the Planta tu diseño contest for their Universidad al Cubo project: a functional expression, a proposal that turns around the Vice-Rector's Office for Students' entrance shop window and turns it into an eye-catching space where to publish the initiatives of interest for students. The three winners are students of the Master's Degree in Industrial Design at the University.
The Planta tu diseño contest is an initiative by the Vice-Rector's Office for Students which aimed to awake the university students' creative skills and search alternatives and ideas that would turn that empty access to the offices into a useful space.
The Vice-Rector for Students, Luis Rodríguez, and the Vice-Rector for University Extension and Communication, Vicente Domínguez, have been in charge of presenting the awards to the finalists with the presence of the jury members. The winners have been awarded with an iPAD and a certificate.
The jury of this contest has granted the second prize to the team made up by Gerardo García, Radamés Hurlé and Iván González for their proposal Infórmate, proyecta tu futuro. This second prize consisted of a smartphone and a certificate. Finally, the works by Maite Ania, Gonzalo González and Sarai Allende (Futurum. Asómate al futuro) and by Cristina Álvarez, Laura Argüelles and Jennifer Judith Calleja (Tenemos un regalo para ti) received the consolidation certificate.
