  • The number of application forms to perform studies with a limited number of places has decreased

    July 12, 2011

From today, 12th of July, to next Friday, 15th of July, the registration can be formalized from the first awarding, via internet.

The Vice-rector's office for Students and Employment has published the statistical information about the pre-registration results in those studies which own limited number of places for the 2011- 2012 academic year, which are corresponding with the first awarding. Following these details, there's been a decrease in the average number of submitted applications to execute studies with a limited number of places, when comparing it to the last academic year. From the Vice-rector's office it is said that this is due to "the fact of having a reference with the necessary marks to get into a specific study in the 2010- 2011 academic year, something that didn't occur in the last course. This caused a general increasing in the number of pre-registrations in all the Spanish universities with offered studies with limited places".

It has likewise been confirmed that the degrees in Medicine and Health Sciences have the highest marks to get to them, as it happened in previous years. Nevertheless, in the branch of Social and Legal Sciences, this kind of marks has decreased.

From next Tuesday, 12th of July and up to Friday, 15th the deadline to formalize the registration corresponding to this first awarding will be open. Those applicants who are waiting must be ready when the next awarding will be published. Those students who have chosen studies with unlimited number of places can register until the 9th of September, in all the cases, through Internet.
