The University of Oviedo calls for the third edition of the Literary Contest open for all students registered in the current academic year in any of the courses offered by the Asturian academic institution. Like in previous editions, the University of Oviedo offers two sections: short story and poetry, and the works may be written in Spanish or Asturian.

The deadline to submit the works will end on April, 19. The winners will be awarded with 1.000 euros each. Participants may submit one single work for each section, written in Spanish or Asturian.

The winning works will be published by the Service of Publications of the University of Oviedo, with a first edition of 500 copies (10% of them will be given to authors as copyright). The works submitted, with free subject, must be original or unpublished, and cannot have received any other literary award.
