• Latin America and Africa, main destinations of cooperation for development internships

    The registration deadline to join the projects finishes on the 16th of March.

    Nicaragua, Colombia, Bolivia and Cameroon are the destinations of the eight projects that form this year's call for the internships of cooperation for development aimed at students of the University of Oviedo. In these projects, different jobs will be developed: from the elaboration of work's methodologies to the realization of fieldworks, working directly with the population, development of educational activities, support to victims, family counselling...

    The call is open to a wide range of degrees: Business Administration and Management, Labour Studies, Economics, Business Studies, Labour Relations, I.T, Forest Management, Biology, Philosophy, History, Geography, Psychology, Social Work, Social Education, Teaching Education, Pedagogy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, French and English Philology.

    Those students who want to participate in the projects will be beneficiaries of a full economic coverage and the University will give them academic recognition. This initiative is managed by the Vice-rector's office for Internationalization and Cooperation for Development.
